Contessa is a standout filly with a big presence and an even bigger personality. Out of Empress, she brings a strong, honest work ethic and the kind of mind that makes her a joy to be around. She is naturally inquisitive, people-oriented, and an instant shadow in the pasture—just like her dam and granddam before her. While her pedigree is a bit different from the usual direction of our program, her quality, versatility, and cow sense make her a true keeper. With plans to work cattle and possibly hit some local shows, Contessa is the kind of filly that’s built to be a real using horse.

Snickers is a special James filly that will be staying in the program. She is the only filly produced by her dam, Sugarcandi, and due to a previous injury, may be her dam’s final opportunity to pass on her genetics—making Snickers especially meaningful as a future broodmare prospect. Sweet-natured, willing, and quick to learn, she shows the kind of mind that makes a truly enjoyable riding horse. By James and out of Sugarcandi, Snickers is a ¾ sibling to Legend, and we have high hopes for her both under saddle and possibly in the show pen down the road.

Dazzle is an exceptional filly and one we feel incredibly fortunate to have. After previously owning and loving two daughters of Brennas Golden Dunit, we were thrilled to be able to breed to him again—unaware it would be his final breeding year, making this a very limited and special foal crop. Dazzle is out of Lena, a daughter of Trash, and is closely related to Suki. This stunning 2-year-old will be started under saddle this year, with plans to enjoy her both in and out of the show pen. While she may not be as loud as some of Lena’s other foals, she is SW1 and sports two partial blue eyes that beautifully highlight her expressive face. Full of personality and presence, Dazzle is one that truly stands out.

Belle is a special filly with a bright future ahead, and one we’re very excited to have. She is a first-crop foal by Quickdraw, and out of Carlie, a proven producer of smart, willing, and athletic offspring. Belle already shows a people-oriented nature and loves attention, much like her half-sister Glamour. With her mind and athleticism, we’re looking forward to getting her started and, hopefully, taking her into the show pen ourselves.

Oakley is a filly we couldn’t have been more excited to welcome—though she’s also the most camera-shy one in the bunch. She is a first-crop foal by Quickdraw and the first homozygous tobiano filly we’ve raised, making her especially exciting for the program. Out of Blanche – Delta Promise, Oakley brings both athleticism and presence. In addition to her tobiano coloring, she sports a blue eye, with further genetic testing planned. Quick, catty, and light on her feet, Oakley shows all the makings of a fabulous reined cow horse prospect.

Katie has been a favorite from the moment she was born and is another exceptional filly produced by Mia. She is the full sister to Diva and already shows the same presence, confidence, and personality that make her exciting for the future. By Trash Talkin Gunner and out of RR Stars Mi Hija, Katie represents a cross we truly believe in. Her dam is a mare we still feel incredibly fortunate to have acquired years ago, and she has since blessed us with three outstanding fillies. We’re very much looking forward to showing Katie down the road and seeing her potential come to life.

Chevelle is an incredibly fancy filly that we’re excited to watch mature and really shine as she sheds out this summer. She is a palomino rabicano and is most likely SW1, adding extra eye appeal to an already striking package. Quick on her feet and a blast to work with, Chevelle shows the athleticism and try we love to see. As one of the last fillies by James, she will be staying in the program with hopes of being shown in cow horse in the future. Her dam, Shelby, consistently stamps her foals with outstanding personalities. Chevelle’s full sister, Camaro, made a successful show ring debut last year, placing well in 4-H at both the county level and the State Ranch Horse Show.

Mist is a filly we could only have dreamed of having, and we feel incredibly blessed that a benefit auction made this special cross possible. From the very beginning, she has been full of personality and an absolute joy to be around. Sweet, engaging, and people-oriented, Mist is the kind of filly that makes every day in the pasture better. While we’re already excited about her future in the show pen, for now we’re simply enjoying watching her grow and spending time with this special girl. Tiara is a filly we’re incredibly excited to have. After loving our first filly by Dun It In Platinum, we were thrilled to repeat the cross—and this filly did not disappoint. She kept us guessing on her color early on, but she is a beautiful dunskin, exactly what we’d hoped for. Tiara is packed with personality and shows natural athleticism and intelligence, making her an exciting prospect for the future.
